PA6+MOS2 (Extruded Polyamide 6 filled Molybdenum Disulphide)
Extruded Polyamide 6 filled Molybdenum Disulphide, better known as PA6+MOS2, is an extruded polyamide, which offers the same main characteristics of PA6. It offers a high resistance to abrasion, impact, damping and a good combination of mechanical stability. In addition to that, molybdenum disulphide improves sliding properties and higher compression strengths.

Details.
This materials reduces lubrifications requirements thanks to its sliding properties and wear resistance even when running dry. The addition of molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) to PA6 results in an increase of rigidity, hardness and dimensional stability due to its nucleating effect.
Conversely, the material’s impact strength is reduced as a result.
Due to its black colour, this universal grade PA 6 is well suited for outdoor use and offers improved UV resistance.
